Yes! on Equality Staff

The Yes! on Equality staff consists of carefully chosen community organizers who have come together to ensure marriage equality and the rights thereof.  Yes’ governing body includes long-standing community facilitators as well as new leaders from Join the Impact and the like.  Combined we offer over 100 years of non-profit and political experience.

Chaz Lowe

Has actively served the LGBT community for the past decade. He received a degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. In addition to his involvement with Yes!, Charles is currently on the executive committee for Sacramento Pride. Previously, Charles was a director at the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, the largest regional Hispanic advocacy group in the United States.

Paige Cabral
Campaign Coordinator

Cabral is a highly active and motivated community leader.  She co-founded the Penn Valley Youth Chamber of Commerce and for the past couple years she has coordinated and lead a bike-a-thon for Habitat for Humanity.   In the past 10 years, Cabral has established several groups and rallies advocating LGBT rights. Recently, Cabral has orchestrated high-profile LGBT campaigns, including Join the Impact. She received a B.A. in philosophy from the University of California.

James Eros
Project & Logistics Manager

James Eros served as a national coordinator for the Student Global AIDS Campaign (SGAC) in 2003 and 2004 and as an international and media coordinator for the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) in South Africa in 2003. In 2005 he was a marshal for the Student March Against AIDS (Washington DC). He has worked as an advocate for low-income housing in Northern California as a co-op council member in NASCO affiliated student housing co-ops. He has a BA from Williams College.  

Alison Foster
Volunteer Coordinator

Alison Foster is a long time LGBT ally. She has been involved in previous campaigns for equal rights. Foster has experience in team management, member recruitment, and writing/journalism. Foster is currently pursuing degrees in clinical nutrition and human development at the University of California, Davis.
